Dr. Jagdish Prasad Maurya has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Rajiv Gandhi University (A Central University), Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. Prior to joining Rajiv Gandhi University in 2021, he has worked as faculty member (Assistant Professor) in reputed institutions like Manipal University Jaipur and Jorhat Engineering College, Assam. He received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics (Fluid Mechanics-Vortex Dynamics) in 2018 from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi and MSc in Mathematics from University of Lucknow. His research work is focused on the mathematical modelling, differential equations, Fluid Mechanics, Atmospheric Vortices, CFD, Transport phenomena in biological and agricultural processes. He has published many research papers in reputed international journals and presented more than 18 research papers in International and national conferences in India and abroad. He has supervised more than 24 M.Sc. research projects and 04 PhD scholars are working under his supervision. He has delivered many lectures as Invited speaker and resource person in many academic events. He has qualified National examinations such as GATE and CSIR-UGC JRF. He has received many national and international scholarships. He has visited many institutes in countries such as Czech Republic, Russia, and Spain. Till now he has completed one major research project and one is ongoing.
